Here are some pics from Tuesday night! I went to a party at the NYC Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Annex to celebrate a new collection of the jewelry line FETTY by Justin Tranter (above), lead singer of the RIDICULOUS band Semi Precious Weapons. I’m a huge fan of the band, and FETTY is a bold and sassy line chock-full of weapon charms, smashed-in heart pendants, and astrology-inspired Braille necklaces. Check out the color’splosion I was sporting!!!

The party was a glam-rock, reality-TV-star-filled extravaganza. I saw Christian Siriano from Project Runway (he is a PRO vogueing on the red carpet!), CariDee English from Top Model, and many cast members from The Real World: Brooklyn.
I also ran into some friends: R&B/pop singer Sariah, who is so sweet and lots of fun, and Ali from the hair-metal-revival band Wild Street. It was nice to be in the company of familiar faces!!
I felt like I just HAD to talk to the Real Worlders, though. I’m a frequent reader (and poster, try and find me!) of the post-feminist entertainment blog Jezebel.com, and I had been following The Real World mostly via Jezebel posts. Their commentary on cast member Chet was always hilarious, so I grew some balls and just went right up to him!
Turns out, cast member Scott was behind him the whole time I was talking to Chet, and I didn’t recognize him! I was laughing with Chet about the cardboard-cutout episode, and Scott was like “What about when they painted my nails?!?” I put two and two together and then realized I had been ignoring Scott the whole time! I thought he was Chet’s buddy from out of town or something. Oops!
I ended up talking to Scott for a while, and we had a fun chat about the ins and outs of the entertainment business; he was super nice! He told me about his new career path (on the show, he was pursuing modeling), which is “aspiring action star.” Scott really is a hunk, and his bod is impeccable, so if he’s got the chops, he definitely has a shot! Oh, and ladies, he told me he’s single and he loves Italian girls. 
The best part of the night, by far, was the Semi Precious Weapons set. Justin and his band have more stage presence pizzazz than I’ve ever seen!! That explains why their next show is an opening gig for breakout sensation Lady Gaga. DROOL!! What I wouldn’t give to be the opener for the opener on that bill…someday…
